A couple of months ago i bought the Asus EEE Top all-in-one touch based computer. As most other Atom based nettops it came with only 1Gb of internal memory, so I decided to give the RAM upgrade a go.
To open up the back cover you need to remove a total of 4 screws in addition to the 4 in the desk stand. The four screws around the edges are covered with silicone or rubber that are about 1cm deep. Just use a sharp knife or something similar to lift them up.
This is the unboxing of the Acer Aspire One D250. The D250 is the new netbook from Acer with a 10.1 inch backlit led display. As you can see in the video, it is easy to upgrade ram, harddrive and add a mini-pci card.
There is a SIM-card slot behind the battery, but we could not confirm if it’s actally a sim reader installed.
First impression is that this is a sleek and good looking netbook.
